In The Beggining

Each human being has own beliefs on how the Universe was created, weather it is Greek mythology or the way God created it. Both of these theories are very interesting and different. Greek mythologyinvolves various characters taking place in the creation of the Universe. The theory of how God created the Universe is stated that it was by himself, with no help with no one else taking participationin the event.

In ancient times, the Universe was called Chaos. It contained the seeds of all things in confusion. Eros, (meaning love) was formed from the seeds floating around that werefertilized and twirled afterwards creating him. When he was created, love was formed. Erebus came from the underworld, forming a black hole. The tears formed created light. The light and Erebus danced,forming Gaea. Gaea got together with Uranus. From Heaven and Earth were born the Titans and Cyclopes. It filled Uranus with fear. To save himself, he thrust them down to Tartarus. Their mother, Gaia,took pity on them and saved them later on. Cronus was one of the Titans. He was armed with a scythe and laid in wait for his father. Rushing out upon him he mutilated him and drove him from the field.From the blood of Uranus's wound that fell upon the land sprang the Giants and dread Furies, whose heads were wreathed with serpents, and from the blood that fell into the sea in his flight,Aphrodite was created. Cronus reigned in his father's stead and took his sister, Rhea, to be his wife. They ruled over the universe. They had five children. Their names were Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Pluto,Poseidon, and Zeus. The possession of children didn’t bring satisfaction to Cronus when his father told him that one-day he would be defeated by one of his children. Uranus swallowed them one by one asthey were born. Rhea called Gaea for help when she had her sixth child, Zeus. Rhea saved Zeus by tricking Cronus to swallow a rock in its place instead of him with stone wrapped in clothes. He...
