1. What is capital punishment?
This method is normally used to punish murders, abductions, violations and, in some places, like Islamic, crimes against religion, and adultery.

2. History.Firstly, the capital punishment was mainly applied with strangers, no matter how simple was the crime, because it was considerate like an insult.

Greeks and Romans used this law, then, in the MiddleAges, the Inquisition invented a lot of physical tortures that then were used to kill. In French Revolution, the leaders die under the guillotine. In the Civil war, people die shot. And nowadays, themost common method is the lethal injection.

3. Methods
1. Bonfire. The person is tied up in a big stick. Then they burned it.
2. Gallows. The person is tied up by the neck. Then, he’s raised andhe died suffocate.
3. Vile Garrotte. The person sits in a chair. In the neck he has a steal necklace. The killer turns a screw and it perforates the neck of the victim.
4. Dismemberment. They tieup each extremity to a horse. Then the horse run and the extremities are separated from the body.
5. Guillotine. The person is laid. The neck is trapped by two parts of wood, and then, a steal bladefalls, cutting the head.
6. Stoning. The person is tied up, and people began to throw stones until he dies.
7. Crucifixion. The victim is tied in a crux. He died because of asphyxia.
8.Decapitation. The killer cuts the head of the victim.
9. Electric Chair The victim is sited in a chair. He receives two discharges of electricity, until his organs are destroyed, and his heart, stops.
10.Lethal injection. The person receives a lethal quantity of a kind of anaesthesia.
11. Chamber of Gas. The person is sited in a chair, with a recipient under it, with sulphuric acid. Then, a ball ofcyanide falls into the recipient, creating a mortal gas.
