Marketing is based on thinking about the business in terms of customer needs and their satisfaction. Marketing differs from selling because (in thewords of Harvard Business School's emeritus professor of marketing Theodore C. Levitt) "Selling concerns itself with the tricks and techniques of getting people to exchange their cash for yourproduct. It is not concerned with the values that the exchange is all about. And it does not, as marketing invariably does, view the entire business process as consisting of a tightly integratedeffort to discover, create, arouse, and satisfy customer needs."

a) Why do you think marketing is important?
In my opinion, marketing is important, because is it necessary for any company, and is based on meeting both the needs and wishes of a certainmarket. The satisfaction of these 2 points would lead to the fulfillment of a mission in a company, which is the main purpose of it. Apart from trying to fulfill that misison, likewiseintegrates the creativity of the ompany to achieve their goal.
b) Which are in your opinion the 3 or 4 most important words related to marketing?
Public/: this is most important because based onknowing and analyzing this area will achieve a good satisfaction of the market and your product will be focused and as result you will have a good development in the market.
Market: bothyour audience to offer, and competition.
Product: what they are offering to the public, for what purpose, really cover them qeu needs and desires for satisfying, how much competition youhave is simply the study of what you offer.
Price: the price that you're offering, it should produce a profit pro while being within the reach of the public who is focused on this product
