Scientific methods of engineering are applied in several fields
not connected directly tomanufacture and construction.
Modern engineering is characterized by the broad application
of what is known as sytems engineering principles. The
systems approach is a methodology of decision-making in
design , operation, or construction that adopts (1) the formal
process known as the scientific method; (2) an
interdisciplinary team; and (3) a formal sequence of procedure
employing the principlesof operations.

Métodos científicos de la ingeniería son aplicados en varios
campos no conectados directamente con la fabricación y la
construcción. La ingeniería moderna es caracterizada por la
amplia aplicación de lo que es conocido como principios de
sistemas de ingeniería. El enfoque de sistemas es una
metodología de la toma de decisiones en diseño, operación, o
construcciónque adopta (1) el proceso formal conocido como
el método científico; (2) un equipo interdisciplinario, y (3) una
secuencia formal de procedimiento empleando los principios de
operaciones.

Henry Ford (1863-1947) was American industrialist, best known
for his pioneering achievements in the automobile industry.
Ford was born on a farm near Dearborn, Michigan, on July 30,
1863, and educated in district schools. He became a
machinist’s apprentice in Detroit at the age of 16. From 1888 to
1899 he was a mechanical engineer,and later chief engineer,
with the Edison Illuminating Company. In 1896, alter
experimenting for years in his leisure hours, he completed the
construction of his first automobile, the Quadricycle. In 1903 he
founded the Ford Motor Company.

conocido por sus logros pioneros en la industria del automóvil.
Ford nació enuna granja cerca de Dearborn, Michigan, el 30 de
julio de 1863, y se educó en las escuelas del distrito. Él se
convirtió en un aprendiz de mecánico en Detroit a la edad de
16. De 1888 a 1899 fue un ingeniero mecánico, y más tarde
