Abstract

An internal combustion engine, an explosion engine or a piston engine are kinds of machines that obtain mechanical energy directly from the chemical energy of a fuel thatburns into the combustion chamber. This is one of the modern inventions that have revolutionized the industrial and daily life and still advancing and evolving in technology as the world changes. This engine’s name comes from the fact that the combustion takes place in the engine itself.
By mid-19th century is when this machine was invented by Eugenio Barsati and Felice Matteucci, both Italianmechanical and hydraulic engineer accordingly who detailed the operation documents and the initial approach for the engine.
The first prototypes were lack of the compression phase, that is to say, the suction phase ended prematurely consequently these prototypes were deficient. Later on, this problem was solved making this system more efficient, given these improvements the internal combustionengines replaced vapor engines and they boosted the automobile industry
The main purpose of this project is to spread the knowledge of how an internal combustion 4 cylinders engines work, a clear view of the function of this engine is seen due to the cut design that was made to the engine in order to see precisely the action that takes place inside the engine.
It should be noted that this is a projectelaborated by the students of Heavy machinery maintenance career. The decision of making this project was taken because of the subjects’ background that the school has taught.
By the end of this project it will be assured the knowledge and learning in a didactic manner the internal combustion engine’s operation as well as its main mechanical parts. This will certainly clear any doubts regarding tothis very common engine which the students will heavily interact further being one of the objectives of analysis.

Objetivó general
Al terminar dicho proyecto se podrá concretar el conocimiento y aprendizaje de forma didáctica del funcionamiento del motorde combustión interna así como sus partes más fundamentales lo cual hará que entre los alumnos se disipen todas las dudas con respecto a tan común máquina en donde interactuaremos diariamente al estar cursando la carrera y al término de ésta siendo ese nuestro principal objetivo.

Objetivo particular
Que se pueda profundizar en el tema de hidráulica electrónica y mecánica con la herramienta quese esta brindando
Tener el material para que pueda ser aprovechado por alumnos y profesores para explicaciones de diferentes materias
