New York City, Dec 12 1901Can the New Inmmigrants Survive in the industrialized US?
U.Scitizens have on their minds they would always be the only population on the United States. While the United states become industrialized and it began to clearly appear the opportunitiesof job that these factories generate. For citizens, this is not a big change in their lives. But all around the world, they are million of people who try to migrate into US looking fora better way of living. The dream of thousands of immigrants to live in America would give them at some point, a disappointment of what they expected and what they really would passthrough.
This great increase of population could bring serious problems for the community, the environment, the population and can create a bunch of feelings among US citizens. Thisgreat amount of immigrants could lead to sanity and living problems because cities aren’t prepared to receive this amount of people which implicates not enough homes and many peopleleaving homeless. The Nativism would make their lives so complicated because in certain way they would feel superior to immigrants. Discrimination and bad treatment and no jobopportunities would be some problems immigrants would face.
Life in the industrialized US wouldn’t be an easy thing for immigrants, but they should at some point began to act like them and getsome American culture. After some years, they would get Americanized and stop being immigrants and converting in American citizens or trying to convert.
