Oliver Twist is the beautiful and touching story that tells the adventures and troubles of a kind and naive orphan. Oliver was kind, respectful, and a lovely boy, buthad always an expression of sadness and melancholy. In the workhouse where Oliver was forced to go at the beginning, there were many boys that worked and worked for Mr. Bumble, just for a little food.The hunger they had was demonstrated when a boy said he was so hungry he could eat the boy sleeping next to him. Oliver was brave and asked for more food, and the stingy Mr. Bumble acted as if he haddone something terrible. He was always very respectful, and had excellent manners, still with the ones who treated him bad. But he showed how he loved his family when a boy insulted his dead motherand he defended her. Still, no one defended poor Oliver, so he had to escape. Somehow all the good people who saw Oliver just by seeing his face, were captivated with his kindness and felt the need tohelp him. Oliver never faked anything it was just who he was. In London, when Dodger first appeared and helped Oliver, he showed he was very smart and fast. Unfortunately, he led Oliver to the wrongway, Still without his and Fagin’s help he probably wouldn’t have survived. Oliver was happy to be with other boys and had fun with them and Fagin. Fagin showed his greed when he opened the box withthe fancy things and was like adulating them. He was a thief and was “bad”, but I found good in him. He really liked Oliver. Everyone, including Fagin, was afraid of Bill Sikes. Since he first appeared,you could notice he was going to be the villain in the story. When Bates, Dodger, and Oliver went out to do their first job, at the end everything turned well to Oliver. Dodger and Bates were verymean because of leaving Oliver alone and letting the police take him. Fortunately somebody testified and said Oliver was innocent so he was free.
