TALKING ABOUT FASHION THROUGH TIME
Every generation has had some influence in the following seasons, but few can match the impact of the 60. The 50s was the time when youth culture was developed, and 60 were the years when adolescents were expressed freely. Known for his political activities of major changes in many countriesworldwide, the 60 not only influenced the political and cultural landscape, but also the way they dress up today.
In the 60s fashion went through many different styles, there is generated a huge group of subcultures. Although most people associate the 60s with the hippie, was actually far more diverse and complicated.
At the beginning of this decade, fashion was heavily influenced by movieswith Frankie Avalon themed shirts and Annette Funicello. This new approach to surf culture is reflected in the popularity of bikinis and shirts. Also thanks to this came the miniskirt in the late 60s and popularity continues today.
The emergence of the Beatles also had a great influence on fashion, influencing the popularity of Nehru jackets, buckled appearance and haircuts. However, the mode ofthe Beatles in the 60s following also continued to evolve rapidly.
The 60s was the time when rock and roll became popular and appearance of the members of these bands had great impact on fashion. The psychedelic rock band from San Francisco was very influential. With its anti-war philosophy and ideology of a utopian society, hippies became a staple of the fashion of the 60s. Areinstalled bell jeans, tie-dyed shirts or various prints. The amazing thing is that this outfit has become the everyday basic clothing for most people, of course, with their variations and adaptations.
While influenced hippie fashion haircuts and hairstyles for both men and women, the U.S. black community imposed a series of Afro hair styles, which are also used to this day, and not just for blacks.Also the style of Jacqueline Kennedy in the '60s influenced fashion for those seeking some sophistication in their appearance.
The 60s had great impact mainly in the U.S., with its protests against the Vietnam war and segregation laws in the country, but that lasted revolutionary spirit in fashion and no doubt, in the minds of people, having a great impact world.
The pledge came at thebeginning of the century, at least to the knee.
While in the 50's there was a marked contrast between fashion and boys, at this time mingled with each other, or so it seemed. The men wore long hair and very tight clothes that enhanced its forms and the women hid their attributes in order to achieve the ideal asexual.
It is not my intention to expose here a treaty at this time but leave asmall sample of what this period, through some photos that illustrate time and much better than my words this time.
