The ‘company’s organization’ corresponds to the organizational process of the human, financial and material resources of a company in order to reach a defineobjective. We can find several models or styles of organization.
One of the aspects of the organization is the settlement of the departments, which designed a particular area or division in an organizationon which an administrator owns authority on the development of specific tasks, in agreement with its more general use, departments can be production, quality control, sales, market investigation…We can divide a company’s organization in two parts, in the first one we can find the formal and informal organization, and the second part refers to the work organization.
So, first of all we haveto know what formal and informal organization are:
- The formal organization is the planned structure and involves the official lines of authority, ranging from the board of directors and presidentto the operative workers, which implies that the working process is rigid.

- The informal organization involves any natural self-grouping of individuals according to their personalities and needs.In this case employees have plenty of freedom and they can take job initiative.
After knowing this, we can deduce that a greater formalization implies to limit employee’s behavior regarding the tasksand its content.

On the other side, we have to talk about the work organization; in this case, we’ve got several models.
Work organization is important because the way in which work isorganized has relevance in many points at different levels. At the personal level, work is an economic achievement that gives you status. At an intermediate level, the way in which people spend their workinglives helps to shape their perception and attitudes having at the same time cultural and social consequences.
