Explain why people when feeling isolated, they go out with friends.
According to the different theories this could be interpreted as the following:
* Will theory
* According to thistheory developed by Descartes, understanding motivation, was understanding the will. The will was conceived as the choosing, striving and resisting. So in this case, the will would be the force thatguides isolated people to look for going out with friends.

* Instinct theory
* This theory began with Darwin’s theory (behavior was automated and adapted to the environment). Willian Jamesalso explained the instinct. According to him it was dispositions to act in a goal-directed way. The goal in this situation would be not feeling isolated, so the instinct would be explained as thedesire of looking for a goal for this.

* Psychoanalytic theory
* Sigmun Freud was the main represent of this theory, which was based on explaining actions through the drive. The drive wasresponsible of satisfying the body needs. When people feel isolated their body goes down and usually feels negative moods, this could cause discomfort and not well-being inside the body, and hence, toovercome this negative feeling, the drives tend to look for goals that satisfy the body need, in this case, being with people.

* Humanistic theory
* The humanistic theory is based onneeds. Needs are divided on a pyramid proposed by Abraham Maslow and the order is: physiological, safety, love/belonging, esteem and self-actualization. While looking for people when you feel lonely, youachieve the top of this pyramid, so you achieve the final need of self-actualization, by the one you manage to overcome the problem by solving it and accepting the facts that you felt isolated. Thiswill provide a personal development that will satisfy both basic and secondary needs by the good evaluation of people and of oneself.
