Piracy is the unauthorized use or reproduction of copyrighted or patentedmaterial. Plagiarism is the verbatim copying or imitation of the language, ideas, or thoughts of another author and representing them as one’s own original work.
Plagiarism is a problem that can beseen in a lot of schools & universities. When a student commits this crime there can be different types of consequences. The person in charge will have to see how many times the person has committed andthe nature of the mistake. The penalties for plagiarism can vary from failing an assignment, loss of privilege, getting a low-grade to not being promoted to a higher standard, academic probation andeven expulsion from an educational institution.  If a student is expelled from an academic institution it will be very hard for him or her to get in another one, just for copying someone else work. When we talk about software piracy, it is considered stealing.
