 Mitosis

Mitosis is a funny thing
That consists of six steps
First there is interphase
In this phase the DNA copies
Second there is prophase
Where DNA condenses, the nucleussuddenly disappears
The centrioles appear with spindles
Third there is metaphase
In this phase spindles pull chromosomes in a line
And in that line the chromosomes separate
That would beanaphase
In telophase
The spindle fibers disappear
The last stage is cytokinesis
That´s where cells divide into two





Volcanoes are formed when magma from within theearth´s upper mantle works it´s way to the surface. At the surface, it erupts to form lava flows and ash deposits. Over time as the volcano continues to erupt, it will get bigger and bigger. Deepinside earth, between the molten iron core and the thin crust at the surface, there is a solid body of rock called the mantle. When rock from the mantle melts, moves to the surface through the crust, andreleases pent-up gases, volcanoes erupt. Are more than 1500 active volcanoes on the earth. Know of 80 or more which are under the oceans. Active volcanoes in the U.S. are found mainly in Hawaii,Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington. Magma is molten rock within the Earth´s crust. When magma erupts through the earth´s surface it is called lava. Lava can be thick and slow-moving or thin andfast-moving. Rock also comes from volcanoes in other forms, including ash (finely powdered rock that looks like dark smoke coming from the volcano), cinders(bits of fragmented lava) andpumice(light-weight rock that is full of air bubbles and is formed in explosive volcanic eruptions-this type of rock can float on water). Magma is a liquid rock inside a volcano. Lava is liquid rock (magma) thatflows out of a volcano. Fresh lava ranges from 1,3000o to 2,200o f ( 7000o to 1,200oc) in temperature and glows red hot to white hot as it flows. Lava and ash cool down to form conical landforms....
