Poverty as a global problem.
Poverty has not been aproblem today, dates from the beginning of mankind, and unfortunately been increasing over time. Although there are countries with the highest number of income, poverty remains a global problem thatgovernments have tried to disappear with different proposals but none have been effective. Many social problems "go together" with poverty, such as insecurity, lack of jobs, corruption, population growth,natural disasters such as droughts and floods, etc. Plato (Greek philosopher 427 BC-347 BC said: "Poverty does not come from the decline in wealth, but by the multiplication of desires." And in theirwords, is a reflection on the world because of poverty.
For a long time, has spoken of the causes of poverty and because of this. But to understand better the problem is strictly necessary toknow its meaning with which to define it, we know that we are analyzing.
Poverty is generally categorized as material deprivation. Generally, poverty is
defined as the state of being poor ordeficient in money or means of
subsistence (Barker 1995). Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the one who
lacks basic human needs, which commonly includes clean and fresh water, nutrition,
healthcare, education, clothing and shelter. (Shah, 2011)
Poverty attacks any person regardless of race or sex, age, and becomes a big problem when it causes insecurity and deaths. But back to topic, whatcauses it?, Governments may be corrupt, that through the taxes people pay, they steal the money for their benefit by changing their true purpose for which it is intended, or may also be thedemographic increase, which leads to cutting jobs, increase the demand for food and public spaces, which profits by not cause poverty and hard life for those who do not have what it takes to survive....
