RESUMEN
El planteamiento y desarrollo de los estudios internacionales se ve favorecida por el desarrollo de las demás ciencias sociales, en especial de la política y la sociología, las cuales sentarían precedente. Es importanteteorizar acerca del concepto mismo de esta ciencia y de su objeto de estudio, para tener una visión más clara, tanto de su rama de estudio como de su finalidad. Es en la Primera Guerra Mundial cuando surge la necesidad formal de crearse una disciplina capaz de actuar como mediadora en casos de conflictos, así como de pacificadora e idealmente servir como vehículo para la resolución de losmúltiples conflictos de ámbito internacional. Las relaciones internacionales por tanto representa parte significativa del esfuerzo de los hombres por entenderse a sí mismo y por ende dar paso a la búsqueda de los principales problemas que aquejan a la sociedad no solo de su iniciativa de combatir la guerra así como de ofrecer un espacio de paz y orden sino que va más allá del ámbito político ydiplomático, sino también de la problemática del hambre, el subdesarrollo, la desigualdad y privaciones socioeconómicas, la explosión demográfica, el inestabilidad ecológica, la opresión, la violación de los derechos humanos, sino una agudizamiento de los conflictos bélicos ante la amenaza de las armas nucleares.

The planning and development of international studies is favored by the development of other social sciences , especially politics and sociology, which would set a precedent. It is important to theorize about the concept of this science and its object of study , to have a clearer view of both their and your field of study and its purpose. It is in the First World War when need arisesformally created a discipline capable of acting as mediator in cases of conflict , as well as peacekeeping and ideally serve as a vehicle for resolving the many conflicts internationally. International relations thus represents a significant part of the effort of men to understand themselves and thus give way to finding the main problems facing society not only of its initiative to fight the war aswell as providing a space peace and order but goes beyond the political and diplomatic , but also the problem of hunger , underdevelopment , inequality and socio-economic deprivation , population explosion , the ecological instability , oppression, violation of human rights , but a sharpening of conflicts to the threat of nuclear weapons .
