Abuelo: me olvido de arena tanto. si ella vivía más cerca, entonces yo podía verla más a menudo.

Wendy: y ¿qué pasa con las computadoras o los teléfonos celulares?
abuelo: su padre solía tener una computadora muy grande y yo no creoque él solía tener un teléfono celular hace 15 años
Wendy: ¿usó para conducir cuando eras joven?
abuelo: oh sí! No soy tan viejo! pero mi padre solía hablar de unos 5 kilómetros para llegar a laescuela.
Wendy: ¡qué interesante! ¿Cómo su madre utiliza para cocinar? qué se utiliza para tener alguna estufa?
abuelo: Yo creo que ella tiene una estufa de madera de la quemadura, pero ahoramicroondas. eso es seguro!
Wendy: abuelo listo! vienen a ver arena! ahí está! hola, arena!

Grandfather: I miss sandy so much. if only she lived closer, then I could see her more often.

Grandfather: really? That´s great ! I didn´t even use to have a phone when I was younger.
Wendy: well, nowadays you can talk and see people who are onthe other side of the planet.
Grandfather: I remember when we bought our first television. The screen used to be so small.
Wendy: and what about computers or cell phones?
Grandfather: your fatherused to have a very big computer and I don´t think he used to have a cell phone 15 years ago
Wendy: did you use to drive when you were young?
Grandfather: oh yes! I´m not that old! but my fatherused to talk around 5 kilometers to get to school.
Wendy: how interesting! how did your mother use to cook? did she use to have any stove?
Grandfather: I think she have a wooden-burn stove, but now...
