The Value of Waiting!

On Wednesday, June 6, the students of High School level were invited to attend alecture entitled “The Value of Waiting” presented by Dr. Jokin de Irala.
Men and Women are different in many ways for example in the way that they act, spend their time and especially they aredifferent in attitudes about sexual relationships. Women have a relationship to find a best friend and men just for spending their time with girls not for love. Each one has different point of viewand men just have sexual relationships to know how it is and women do it for love. If they do it, they need to have the same perception about it. Both need their own space and privacy, but theyalso need to come together and support each other.
There are many ways to avoid having sex in an inadequate age, chastity which is to be fully and completely self giving to God until you marry; itis not very commonly known to the younger people. Other is Modesty which is a set of values that each person has that defines how they present themselves as a person. Modesty is related when aperson is “easy to get”, because people start to make gossip and the person starts to lose their reputation.
When you have sex very soon you have two options do it with love or without it. If theydo it with love, they have good things, we can know our partner, earn more trust and more love, but we have bad things too, like contempt, obsession and fear of losing the partner. Teenagers have toknow these things, because when they have sexual relationships, after they have to accept the consequences.
Teenagers have to wait until things reach their time, because after they may haveissues like adult people do and they won´t live their lives properly plus they will have more responsibilities than others. Young people have to think about the future and not just go with the moment.
