True Grit
This movie is about a girl whose father has been killed, her name is Mattie Ross. She wants justice to be done, she wants to see her father’s killer hanged and inorder to do so she must look for the best marshal in town and Mr. Cogburn is just the man she needs.
Mattie tags along with Mr. Cogburn after negotiating with the local notaryto gave her the money her father spent in some ponies and after she succeeds at getting the money Mr. Cogburn, Mattie and a Texas Ranger start the journey to hunt Tom Chaney.At first the Ranger does not want Mattie to come because he thinks she is very disrespectful towards him and when she crosses the line saying something and he tries to spankher Mr. Cogburn controls the situation and officially the ranger is out of the journey, they continue day and night and one night they want to get shelter but some guys refuse tobecause they thought they were not marshal and they thought that they were posers so they accidentally, I think, shot one of the persons and when they got in they get someinformation about Tom Chaney and I don’t remember why but the fat man got shot because he tried to shoot Mattie I think and then Mr. Cogburn and Mattie continue their way…
Ithink at some point of the movie they are going to come face to face with Tom Chaney and eventually they will try to kill him, maybe they will hurt him but not kill him, maybesomething will happened to Mattie because I kind of think she’s a little weak and Mr. Cogburn is going to save her and that will be an opportunity for Chaney to runaway. That is mypoint of view for the end of the movie because that was the first time I saw the movie so… yeah, if that doesn’t happen I’m sure they are gonna kill Chaney or something.
