Lara is well known for its artisans and their tissues which highlights the history of the village and its international fair Dyer also was born as the area that today isconsidered the heart of the state's traditional route, a heritage was taken as a trade, which most of its inhabitants took their livelihoods.
It is known as a population with a cultural tradition fromgeneration to generation has its way of life focused on the production and marketing of their collective work, today they are recognized through an international fair where exhibit and compete withthe best craftsmen in the world. This experience is designed to break the borders internationally, both they and people like Lara state, as the vanguard of traditional textile production. We willmention some specific cultural heritage of the people of Venezuela dyer.

Juan Evangelista Torrealba House
It was one of the first five houses that were built with adobe Dyer, thatched and zinc andcement floor. The interior has three rooms and a hall. It is in perfect condition.

The Patriot Hill Monument
The hill is so named because here is buried a soldier who was wounded in the Battle ofLos Horcones-on July 22, 1813 where Colonel José Félix Ribas defeat in Los Horcones, between Barquisimeto and Quíbor, a royalist army of 1,500 soldiers under Colonel Francisco Oberto, in full AdmirableCampaign. An earlier version said that his body was found there and a second said he was brought wounded, but both agree that was buried under the white and blue stones.
