Noting that the surgical procedure is very insecure, so if it was illegal and insecure it represents a problem for the government and the women. Thenwhen the child is born, is already well protected in some way by society itself. The Vatican approves the therapeutic abortion, only if it is to save the mother’s life.
"Benedict XVI has said he has toreject the indirect-therapeutic-abortion, has only beenraised against reproductive health programs that advocate abortion as a means of birth control," says Lombardi, going out to informationpublished by some of the media in this regard.
