What Is Language?
None language is spoken in the same way because it has to do with people. So, it is as complicated as human beings. If you pay attentioneven our native language is not spoken in the same way all around our country. Language is surrounded by different things as tendency, fashion, age, education, accent, and others.Because of that, there are many “spanishes”, “englishes”, etc. Something that called my attention was that there are approximately from 5,000 - 6,000 languages (no fewer that 10,000). Itis a great amount of languages; however, it confirms my point of view that languages grow and change along with human beings. Some dialects are not considered a language itself. Why itis so? Well, some scholars say that if it does not have a literature it cannot be considered a language which is none sense because I consider that literature grows along with peopleas a result of their stories and experiences. Nevertheless, languages and dialects are the same thing as well both of them are used by human beings to communicate ideas, thoughts, feelings among themselves. It is true that some languages are more popular than others, and some of them have more complicated systems than others though are ways of communication.Certainly every language or dialect has its system or rules; for example, in Tuyuca dialect there is a difference between what is visual (apparent) and what non visual is (secondhand) whichshould be stated when the person speaks, in Spanish as well as English there are differences such as singulars and plurals. To sum up, according to my point of view a language is agroup or system of rules developed by a particular group of people in order to communicate as well as they can among themselves. Those patterns are exclusive from every language or dialect.
