The Cockroaches:

Introduction:
In this work, I am going to write about cockroaches, becausethis is something that affects every waldorfian in this school.
Cockroaches belong to the Blattidae family. They are the most common species of insects. If they could speak, they would tell us partof the history of the Earth.
They apear 400 hundred million of years ago, walked among dinosaures feet.
Incrustation in ambar show they haven’t mutated a lot since then.
The survived to thebomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Development:
Cockroaches develop their activity during the night and they are 75% of their lives in a crack, cavity or a joint, but they canappear during the day if they are bothered. They have a great capacity to adaptate to different enviroments. They like warm, dark and wet places.
Types of most typical cockroaches:
- Americancockroach: This is the biggest. They are reddish brown, have wings so they can fly and live in wet places.
- German cockroach: They are Light brown, are small and have two dark lines from thehead to the wings. They can not fly. Live in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Cockroach with lines: The are Light brown, famales are smaller than males, they wings are shorter. They have two lines ontheir stomach. They can fly and live in warm and dry places.
llnesses they transmit:
Infectious organisms like bacterias, virus, etc. Have been found in their bodies.
Gastroenteritis inseveral ways is something cockroaches produce (diarrea, food poisoning). They are loaded with these organisms in their feet and bodies and deposit them in forks, knives, spoons, etc. When they arelooking for food. Their excrement and skin have pathogens that can cause allergy, asthma, etc.
