Colima:
Population and it´s composition:
Colima has 650, 555 habitants. From the total 318771 representing the 49% are men and 331783 representing the 51% are women. Almost all people in Colima speak Spanish, only 1% of the total population speaks other Amerindian language.

Religion:
From the total population 507432 representing the 78% are Roman Catholic. 13011 (2%) are Protestants. 2.2%reported no religion and 95% are Witnesses from Jehovah.
Costumes:
Women: There are two typical costumes the first one is a white dress with shapes painted in blue and red, originally made from cochinilla.
The second costume is a brown dress with the image of the Virgen de Guadalupe, it is embroidered by hand.
Men: They use white trousers with a white shirt. The also use a palm hat in thehead.
Food:
The state of Colima has diversity talking about food, food in this sate can be divided in two: the ocean´s bounty of fresh seafood and the Mexican western branch of typical food.
One ingredient that is very frequent to found in Colima´s food is the iguana.
Also this state counts with diversity of candies as cocadas. Another special and important thing is the Ponche de Comala,that is very representative for this region.
Traditions:
One of the most important traditions for this state is La Feria de Todos los Santos. They make agricultural, cultural and animal expositions.
It is also the place where the Feria del Pan, Ponche y Café is presented.
Artistic expressions:
The sate of Colima has about twenty theaters that are very important, one of them is the TeatroHidalgo
Colima counts with forty nine branches of national library system. It has nineteen museums. Some examples are: Museo de Artes Populares, Museo de las Culturas de Occidente, etc.
Mexico has many types of fine art; it counts with many cultural festivals to celebrate sculptures and paintings.
One important character in Mexico´s art is the dog “Xolo”, this dog is 100% Mexican and it had avery estimative value for ancient cultures as the Aztecs one. People in Colima represented this type of dog in paintings and sculptures made up of clay.

Guanajuato:
Population and it´s composition:
The total population of Guanajuato is about 5,486,372. The 47% are men (2578594) and 53% are women (2907777). Almost all people speak Spanish, only .3% speaks Amerindian language.
Religion:
85%of the people are Roman Catholic, represented from 4608552. 54863 are protestant (1%). Another 1% is represented by people with no religion and .43% are Jehovah witnesses.

Costumes:
Women use “Galereñas” that are composed by:
Made of a line skirt with another skirt of red flannel at the top. The skirt is embroidered by hand making triangles. Women also put color ribbons at the hair, frillsand braid.
This costume was used for daily life.
Men: Huaraches made up of leader, a morral a red belt and a manta suit.

 Food:
Food in Guanajuato is very important, some special dishes or symbolic ones are:
* Pacholas Guanajuatenses(grounded beef fritters).
* Acambaro bread.
* Empanadas de Carnitas.
* Fiambre (Specially in San Miguel de Allende).
*Enchiladas Mineras (Guajillo sauce),
*Charamuscas.
*Jamoncillos.
*Alegrías.

Traditions:
One of the biggest traditions nowadays is to celebrate the Cervantino. It is celebrated in honor of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.
They also have several traditional parties as:
* El díade la cueva.
* El día de los muertos.
Also it is a tradition to make callejoneadas that basically are walks in streets.

Artistic expressions:
Talking about art Guanajuato is very rich, they have one of the most important universities in Mexico (Universidad de Guanajuato), in this university many art skills are developed, one example is the Ballet Folklórico.
