Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Education should be free
Anything on life is free, and the education shouldn´t be the exception. Why? This answer responds to different aspects.When we get something specific, we should pay for it. The price is not necessary money.
The price of a specific thing, service, food, or everything that you can think on your mind could be on money,time, capacity of getting, effort, etc. To illustrate this idea, imagine the next situation: on your neighborhood will take place a weeding but it is not a common wedding, it is the wedding of thedaughter´s mayor. A lot people will come to the church where will be celebrate this event so important for the community. A salesman of hotdogs believes that this is a good opportunity for present hisproduct to the customers. The day of the wedding, this man put a banner that say: “Hot dogs free”. When the ceremony ends, people go out of the church and read the paper and quickly go to the place.Also the children go for getting their hot dogs. But, what happen? The entire guest should wait that the first that arrived to the place receive their hot dogs. It will take a lot time. The price onmoney will be 0.00 dollars but the time that you should wait is the price. Maybe you are not willing to spend 2 or 3 hours for a hot dog. Perhaps you will look another kind of food, that you should paybut you will not spend a lot time waiting.
Another good reason is that education is a process that need a lot people be involved: teachers, students, parents, tutors, etc. Also, you need additionalmaterial like books, notebooks, boards, etc, that aren´t free. The government can pay the books, for example, but what happen with the salary of teachers? And the rent of the place that you will uselikes school?
