Replacing the iCal icon - a guide by Balling

The following is a guide to replacing the iCal icon, so it still shows the current date. Ifyou have any questions, please hesitate to contact me and simply start over, as you have most likely done something wrong.

I do not takeresponsibility for any errors occurring as a result of following this guide.
This was tested on Mac OS X v.10.4.11. Compatibility withprevious or later versions is not guarantied.

Make sure iCal is shot down while following these steps.

That being said, lets get to it.
1.Right-click the iCal app. in your applications folder and choose 'show content...'
2. Open 'Resources' folder
3. Navigate to the'App-empty.icns' and rename it 'App-empty-org.icns'
4. In the 'iCal' folder within the 'Spiffy icons' folder, copy (cmd+C) the file 'App-empty.icns'5. Paste (cmd+V) the 'Spiffy' icon in the iCal 'Resources' folder
6. Now, go back to your applications folder and replace the iCal icon with'iCal.png' in your preferred manner (Candybar, drag n' drop, copy-paste etc)
7. Launch iCal and see if you've done everything correctly
8.If unsuccessful go to step 8a if successful skip to 9
8a. Start from step 1.
9. Go to http://balling.deviantart.com and add the Spiffy iconpack to your favorites. It's a small price to pay, and I do like to know when my efforts are appreciated.
