About the city of toledo
The climate in Toledoas a rule is good. There are two defined seasons. In the summer and in the spring the temperature is warm, and in the winter and autumn the temperature is very cold. Toledo is not a very rainycity.
The communications in Toledo are not bad. There are very good connected with Madrid and consequently Madrid is connected with all Spain. Toledo is connected with Madrid by bus and train. Thetrain called AVE connects Toledo and Madrid in half an hour more or less. In addition there is an urban bus that connects all places to the city.
I’m going to talk about the historic monuments andplaces of Toledo. In the center of Toledo is located the square of Zocodover. Next to the square of Zocodover we can see one of the most important monuments of Toledo, this monument is the Alcazar.Inside the alcazar is located the library of Castilla la Mancha. Secondly if we visited Toledo we must visit the cathedral that is located at the square of Ayuntamiento, this cathedral is anexample of gothic art. Thirdly we must visit other interesting sites of Toledo for example the two castles, the bridges Alcantara and San Martin and besides the church of San Juan de los Reyes.
Toledohas many different places to eat. There are many restaurants specialized in traditional food. In the other hand, the nightlife of the city is not very extensive, there are six or seven pubs reallyinteresting to go out for the city and this is perhaps the worst part of the town. The most famous festival of Toledo is the day of the Corpus Christi on the 7th of June.
In conclusion Toledoit’s a city very interesting, beautiful and very cultural to visit, thousands of tourist visit each year Toledo. It’s considered the city of three cultures and is a city declared world heritage site.
