As an asocciate in this law firm, he is involved with other people, as he leads the M&A section of the firm. He is involved with the 4 managerial functions, and he knows exactly how to manage hissubordinates.
When asked about how do they ensure that his employees behave in ethical and socially responsible ways, he tells us that behaving in ethical ways is inert to their position aslawyers. They have a deontological code that they have to follow before their clients. If they don’t follow the rules that are set, or the deontological code, they will probably loose the client, andtherefore the money. He also sets an example for his employees to follow. He participates in Pro-Bono activities (that is giving legal advice for free, helping other enterpises that can´t afford theservices of high-quality lawyers) and encourages his employees to do the same and help the community
For Victoria, the client is the most important, and therefore following a code of conduct is essencialfor the survival of the firm. When they 1st hire people, they ensure that the have been ethical in the past, and that the can work well with other people, as this sector of activity requires regularcooperation. When they have ensured this, they always keep high standards of ethical behaviour, so the client is always happy with the service that is being offered and that they feel they have beentreated respectfully. For the social responsibility , the try to send all excedent material, such as curtains or tables, to a center they have in Andalucia, so other people can benefit of this. As well,when making errands, they use marginal people so they can start feeling more integrated within the community.
