The last kiss is a way to enter retracements of a major move. Last Kiss
trades are those situations when the market has broken out of a
consolidation zone and has started to trend in one direction. Once this
happens we often see a “Last Kiss” of the prior consolidation zone before
the market moves along in the direction of the trend.The best way to see
this trade setup is to view a few examples.

Here we see that price has consolidated inside of the yellow box. Several
bars are contained in the box, and then we see price breaks out of the box
and falls lower. You could take a sell trade here on the last bar, which has
closed below the box. If you miss this breakout bar, or if you want to wait
for confirmation of thebreakout, you may consider taking a Last Kiss trade.

After price breaks out of the box andmoves downward, the market moves
back up to the bottom of the box for a “Last Kiss.” Ideally the market would
print a Bearish Big Shadow or a Kangaroo Tail at the bottom of the box here,
but in this instance we only see the market print a bearish bar.
