RESUMEN

El SERVIU dentro de sus políticas o vigencias para la construcción están las Especificaciones Técnicas, que básicamente son las alternativas de materiales que pueden utilizar los contratistas para elaborar las viviendas sociales. A parte de estas alternativas que el SERVIU especifica; el mercado ofrece otrasalternativas de materiales que cumplen igual función específicamente para la construcción de estructura y revestimiento exterior. En este trabajo se analizaron y compraron en base a costo-calidad diferentes alternativas de materiales encontradas en el mercado, como es el caso del Covintec; Sistema RBS, que reunían características similares a los establecidos por el SERVRJ en sus especificaciones técnicas(Metalcon y Madera), pudiendo así de ese modo elegir nuevos materiales que podrían innovar estas especificaciones, que no alteraran el presupuesto establecido por el SERVIU para la fabricación de la vivienda social. En la presente investigación se obtuvo como resultado que de los materiales ofrecidos por el mercado, el más adecuado en base a sus características de costocalidad es el Covintec, elcual podría ser perfectamente utilizado para la elaboración de las viviendas sociales.

SUMMARY
The SERVIU inside their politics or force for the construction are the Technical Specifications that basically are the alternatives of materials that can utilize the contractors to devise the social dwellings. To part of these alternatives that the SERVIU specifies; the market offers otheralternatives of materials that comply equal function specifically for the construction of structure and exterior covering. In this work they were analyzed and they bought in base to different costquality alternatives of materials found in the market, as is the case of the Covintec; System RBS, that met similar characteristics to them established by the SERVIU in their technical specifications (Metalcon andwood), being able thus that way to elect new materials that would be able to innovate these specifications, that did not alter the budget established by the SERVR7 for the social dwelling. In the present investigation obtained as a result that of the materials them offered by the market, the most adequate one in base to its characteristics of costquality is the Covintec, which perfectly could beutilized for the elaboration of the social dwellings.
