Puberty, adolescence or early adolescence is starting the first phase of adolescence and youth, usually starts between 10 and 11 years in girls and between 13 and 14 years in children and endsbetween 17 and 18. 1 at puberty takes place the process of physical changes in which the body of the child or adolescent girl becomes capable of reproduction sexual.2
Growth accelerates in the first halfof puberty and reaches its end. The physical differences between boys and girls before puberty are almost entirely their genitales.3 During puberty major differences are noticed in terms of size,shape, composition and functional development in many structures and systems of the body. The most obvious are the secondary sex characteristics. Strictly speaking, the term "puberty" refers tophysical changes in sexual maturation rather than the psychosocial and cultural changes that this entails.
Adolescence is the period of psychological and social transition between childhood and adulthood.Adolescence encompasses much of the period of puberty but its boundaries are less defined, and refers more to the psychosocial and cultural characteristics mentioned above.
