Market Opportunity
Creating Opportunity
In the sector of sales of furniture and articles forremodeling, furniture and painting house, exists many different local shops specialized which sell articles in a classic way like offices even in some type of supermarket. Most of these stores have a website where you can view and download catalogues of the products of season. Also there are few shops that offer this kind of service, purchase its items through e-commerce, Internet. On the other hand,some three-dimensional simulators exist (3D) with generic models of spaces, and some local shops of paintings which use web browsers to test color combinations, but none offers direct sales from Internet, not with personalized environments or with custom settings.
So, does not exist on the local market a digital service (in Internet), that allows the combination of personalized simulations in 3Dwith the option of purchase products in specialized shops, based on catalogues. This project seeks to take advantage of this opportunity, through an intuitive Web application for custom interior design, in which the user can choose different items, furniture, paint colors, and other accessories, from a list of products connected to important shops.
Core Opportunity
The core of the project is tocombine: the opportunity to simulate environments custom designs, with the advantage of making it with real items which you can buy directly or have the design valuation.
The business opportunity is valuable for the target customer, because it delivers customization and agility of purchase at the same time. The consumer who uses the service, values to design his space and the opportunity topre-visualize the environment before realizing a purchase of items.
Identification of Target Customers
The target group is shaped by private customers who want to realize remodeling, buying furniture and accessories, and custom designs; also businessman and contractors dedicated in remodeling environments as well as amateur and professional designers can use this kind of service. For the typeof items which are sold and the type of service accessible via Internet, the objective will be focus on A, B and C socioeconomic levels, for consumers with the profile mentioned above, and with greater impact on young professionals and couples youth.
Resources to take advantage of the Opportunity
One of the key resources to deliver an advantage in the service offered is to have agood tool for simulation of environments in view three-dimensional (3D). The versatility of this application, and adjusting to the reality and simulation items in the catalogue, will define the value of the tool presented and the success of the e-business project. In this regard, an important resource for the continuity of service is to have a support staff trained to provide continuous maintenanceand updating the products from catalogues of suppliers.
In addition, the online connection to the shops suppliers is one of the key points that add value to the service. Therefore, we will consider this kind of work as primary to order and purchase items from the portal. In case any restrictions to any of the suppliers does not allow online access, we will choose for a method of updatingoffline catalogues and inventories on a daily basis, driving a safety stock accordingly.

Opportunity Assessment
For the development of the project, was necessary conduct a small study of market which we could identify the preferences in the use of Web service that we propose to our target audience. The quantitative method which was used, were surveys by questionnaire.
