STEEL FABRICATION, REPAIRS AND PIPING
The wide range of different types of pipes aboard ships has been undertaken for repairs on our workshops.
We count with Certified Welders under AWS6 Gposition with ABS, LR and BV certifications, and experience fitters supervisors who are capable to repair successfully, fast and with accuracy, pipes systems of all kinds, including Engine Room, BallastSystem, Cargo Manifolds, Fire Foam Lines, Steam Piping, High Pressure Pipes, Hydraulic Lines, Boiler Pipes, Pump Room Pipes and Cargo System Pipes.
ELECTRICAL
Our services on the field includerewinding of generators and motors of all sizes up to ship main propulsion system. We are able to carry on repairs on coil winding, starters, switch boards, breakers, stoving and baking.CLEANING-HULL TREATMENT
MEC offers to our customers, hull treatment at Dry Dock, Pier Side or at Anchorage.
Our activities involve cleaning and painting of both external hull and internal tanks and cargoholds.
Our main method of surface preparation offered is the high pressure fresh water washing up to 35,000 psi, and the traditional grit blasting or mixed blasting for better surface preparations.TANK CLEANING
Tank cleaning and gas freeing
IFO, Crude Oil, MGO are just some of the products that our personnel is trained to clean in order to provide GAS FREE certification by a MarineChemistry. Our personnel are the only tank cleaning personnel being TRAINED by GARNER, the American Pollution Containment and Disaster Management Company in USA.
Pads, Pollution kits, containmentbooms are all available in our stock, so we ensure that all our materials and equipments are always available for the service.
