Introduction
Germany Chancellor has recently stated their prolongation of nuclear plants. Albeit their going against regulations and environmental considerations, they have justified their position by the simple assertion of lack of infrastructure in other energetic sources. Previously, they had accorded to dismantle the bases by the year 2015; now, they have postponed it by one decade more,meaning a longer dependence to the nuclear reactors. Truth be told, there has not been an efficient and truly eco-friendly source of energy, and the investments have been insufficient. Under this premise, it is that the nations have been urged to innovate in energetic matters, by planning new, and at the shortest run possible, investigations to consolidate a new generation of energy, to which ourcontinuing existence is closely tied on.
Justification:
We are currently facing an energetic crisis, under the frame of an economic one. As so, we are on the necessity of building new kinds of energy, with a basis on the fundamental concepts of energy. Investigations are currently being held for many respects, from bacteriological batteries to permanent magnets. Germany is expecting to build thestrongest renewable energetic generators, but what is needed to be investigated is a source of energy with a universal application, from a remote control until the purifiers of torrential water. It is under this purpose, that we must furnish the research in order to reach the efficiency, accompanied by the magnification of the resources, with the framework of unconsidered means.
Objectives:
Inthe apex of the current crisis, we are aiming to help in the investigations going on, throughout the globe, of new materials and transformations of energy. Our project will consist in elaborating a small scale renewable energy powered vehicle design that is efficient enough to overcome a series of tests; whereas we are having along this, the scope of redesigning the cars, and equipment in general,for a better enhancement of the energy provided, not ousting the security:
* Our intention is to develop a photovoltaic panel primary motor, assisted by ecological batteries of either sugar or ethanol, depending on the tests of efficiency;
* We also are thinking to make a lighter and more flexible cabin, of polymers, with a four terrain capacity of continuous track design;
* Applicationof aerodynamics for reducing the effect of drag, and propelling the car are considered for the design.

Background:
Historical introduction
Man, since the industrial revolution took place, has sought energy sources to power the machines that, supposedly, make his life easier. The first important source he found was steam. Water vapor transformed into mechanic energy to move the gears of everytrain, ship or factory engine that the world had available. Nevertheless, we must consider that there are no steam mines lying around; so, how was it produced? By heating water of course, as by burning coal; from this point on, mankind started discovering newer and more efficient ways to acquire energy, but without taking into consideration possible side effects.
The most abundant and economicfuels so far available to man have been fossil fuels. However, the consumption of these is not only inconvenient due to the large quantity of contaminants generated, but also because there is an extremely great energy loss; over 60% of the energy contained by fossil fuels is eventually wasted.
Nowadays, people say that (mainly) the amount of fossil fuels we have burnt are the cause of anunprecedented high concentration of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere; which is provoking global warming. There is some debate about global warming actually going on, but it is a fact that the amount of energy that mankind demands is growing day by day.
