Situations, thoughts and reflections are the ones that make up our personality, but the most important thing that forms everything about us are the emotions they make us to take thebest decision depending on what we are feeling, also they can change all our day in a good or a bad way; Love, angry, sad, shy, etc… are some examples of emotions. Emotions can be the most beautifulway of expressing or can be the worst in some situations; they express how much we love, how much we hate or how happy we are; life wouldn’t be the same without them. But have you ever ask yourself, howemotions can be related with chemistry?

To the book (Understanding motivation and emotion, 2006, págs.441-442) “the emotions are multidimensional, are phenomenon subjectivism, biologics, propositions and socials.”

By saying that the emotions are biologics means that they have a reason to be in certainmoments, because they move energy inside your body, to explain this in a better way, when you are hungry there’s a reason why, you need food for your body to be fine, then when you start to eat you aresending signals to your brain that the food is inside your stomach so that the stomach begin to digest it. Or when there’s an emotional situation the emotions are expressed in the voice or in theform of the face. So as you can see emotion is never going to have a specific definition. “Everyone knows what emotion means, until you give it a meaning” (Fehr & Russell, 1984).

Now that we knowsome meanings of the emotions, we need to know where they come from. Some scientists said that emotions come from certain parts of the brain (Paul Ekman 1985, Carroll Izard 1989-1991) , other saidthat the emotion appears when there is a situation and you first need to make an evaluation and then the emotion comes out (Richard Lazarus 1984, 1991a, 1991b, Klaus Scherer 1994a, 1994b).
