Civil engineer is a very important career in our lives. This career is the one that organizes the cities. The civil engineers are responsible to do constructions such as bridges,roads, streets, drainage, and all the constructions that keep us communicated.
Since i was a boy i knew that i had some love for the contructions, at my five years old, my father was constructing asmall group of stores and i remember that i always wanted to be with him watching the constructions and all the trucks and machines working on. I think that was my first impression of somethingassociated to what a civil engineer does. On my next years, I slowly start to have more passion for the constructions.
On my junior high, i already knew wich was the career that i will choose.
On my juniorhigh, i already knew wich was the career that i will choose. The career was being a civil engineer. I like a lot this career but before taking a big step and a big desicion in my life, i shouldinvestigate. So i started investigating and i found that there is no much work for civil engineers, because it only takes one to carry out a large constuccion, so i started to make me questions; what i amgoing to do?. one of my dreams was to be a rich person, what can i study?... after some time thinking about this and other careers, I finally got convinced that being a civil engineer is mostly thebest option for me, so i start thinking different, and i put in my mind these words that my father told me: "if you want to be a civil engineer it is because is something you love, and if you love whatyou do, you will do well on everything, maybe you will no be rich, but you will be happy with your work, and your dreams will come true, and no one can take you away the satisfaction to do what youlove.
Those words took all my doubts from deciding, also changed my way of thinking, and i definitely decided to study civil engineer. Being a civil engineer will bring me a lot of challenges...
