Introduction
Coffee is a beverage that is obtained by mixing hot water from the ground roasted coffee.
Coffee is called the food is often consumed as a beverage by infusion obtained from the fruits and seeds of coffee(Coffea), which contains a stimulating substance called caffeine.
Coffee cultivation is widespread in many tropical countries, especially Brazil, which accounts for just over a third of world production. Coffee is one of the main market of agricultural products in international markets and often makes a big contribution to exports of the producing regions.
From roasted and ground seed infusion ismade known by the same name. In Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal and Rio de la Plata is frequent consumption of roasted coffee or roasted (roast in the presence of sugar).
There are as many ways to prepare this drink as consumers, but the most popular, just taking it apart is the leading milk, but also often add heavy cream, condensed milk, chocolate or some liquor. Is usually served hot but can alsobe served cold or with ice. The coffee industry currently moves 70,000 million dollars per year, second only to petroleum in terms of global exports, according to the magazine Scientific American.
There are two possible origins of the name of the drink. One who says his name derives from the Arabic word qahwah (by the way similar to its use and pronunciation in the Slavic languages​​, and anotherthat connects etymologically with the province Kaffa in southwestern Ethiopia (Abyssinia) credited as being the birthplace of the plant that gives birth to the drink.
Those plants growing wild in Kaffa were taken to southern Arabia where they were cultivated approximately 500 years ago. The origin is uncertain depending on how you pronounce the name of the drink in different languages.Chinese-fei kai, kaffe in Swedish and Danish, Dutch and German Kofi, in Finnish kahvi, Kave Hungarian, Polish and Ukrainian kawa in Persian and Turkish Kahveh, ending in Castilian, Portuguese and French coffee.

In the mid-sixteenth century began to become popular consumption, as people began sharing their consumption where intellectuals met to discuss poetry, politics and other cultural topics.It is in Constantinople (Istanbul) where they open the first coffee. For many people coffee is just a drink that acts as an alternative to tea or soda. In any case, coffee must travel through a complicated process before it reaches one’s cup.
Coffee beans come from a tropical evergreen shrub, which grow as high as 2 m, although it is usually kept much shorter so that it can be maintained. The leaves look very similar tothe leaves of a laurel bush, and the blossoms smell like jasmine. The average tree produces 0.5-0.7 kg of roasted coffee per year. Coffee beans are in all actuality a seed that are contained in a bright red plump cherry. The coffee cherry has a thin skin, with a bitter flavor, and the inner portion is similar to a grape in texture and is quite sweet. A parchment, which is a slimy layer ofmucilage, protects the bean. The coffee bean is a bluish color and is coated in a thin layer called a silver skin. It takes around five years for a tree to bear a full crop of coffee cherries and will then continue to produce for 15 years. The three major types of trees are the Robusta, Aribic, and the Liberica. The Rubusta grows in lower elevations, has a harsh flavor, and contains around 2% caffeine....
