Introduction
To obtain the goal and retain the services of the most talented sales team members InterClean has moved forward in developing a new compensation plan. A great sales team plus theright compensation plan is the key to keeping sales people motivated. InterClean believes that any good sales member needs the time to build an opportunity, regardless of how much experience or educationthey may have or how strong their personal network is. A good compensation plan increases the individual sales team member to accept the position and be able to earn enough money to motivate them tocontinue working in the same position.
New Compensation Plan
InterClean’s objective to design a compensation plan for our employment team is to integrate salary and benefits into a package thatwill encourage the achievement of the organization’s goal (Cascio 2006). The compensation plan for InterClean’s sales team is as follows:
|Salary: |$35,000 - $65,000 per yeardepending on experience and education. |
|Commission: |Based on annual gross sales.|
|Bonuses: |Semiannual and quarterly bonuses for reaching sales quotas. Employee Recognition Award given to the employee |
||with the highest sales each quarter. |
|Retirement Plan: |401(K) with 50% company match.|
|Health Coverage: |Including medical, dental, vision, prescription, and company paid Employee Assistance Program.|
|Transportation: |Sales team members will be provided a company car for travel. Per Diem for hotel and food outside of a 200 mile|
