Our Constitution is the fundamental law of the country and in her there is established his political and social organization, and there are defined the rights, freedoms and duties that we have asMexicans, besides the rights and obligations that correspond to the Power of the Union and to the conditions that integrate the Federation.
On February 5, 1917 there was promulgated the PoliticalConstitution that nowadays governs us, was proclaimed by Venustiano Carranza and came into force on the first of May of the same year; this new Constitution was inspiring in ideal of individual freedom andpolitical democracy.
Hereby, Mexico remained instituted as a democratic and federal Republic and the basic rights of the citizens were guaranteed since it is the right to vote, the equality in theeyes of the law and the right of protection against abuses of authority.
The Political Constitution of the United States of Mexico recognizes the civil freedoms, the social rights and gives fulldomain to the Nation on the subsoil and his natural resources.

Nuestra Constitución es la ley fundamental del país y en ella se establece su organización política y social, y están definidos losderechos, libertades y deberes que tenemos como mexicanos, además de los derechos y obligaciones que corresponden a los Poderes de la Unión y a los estados que integran la Federación.
El 5 de febrero de1917 se promulgó la Constitución Política que actualmente nos rige, fue proclamada por Venustiano Carranza y entró en vigor el primero de mayo del mismo año; esta nueva Constitución se inspiraba enideales de libertad individual y democracia política.
De esta manera, México quedó instituido como una República democrática y federal y se garantizaron los derechos básicos de los ciudadanos como lo esel derecho al voto, la igualdad ante la ley y el derecho de amparo contra abusos de autoridad.
