Thaksgiving Day

It is a traditional celebration of the United States and Canada. In the United States is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, althoughoriginally it was the last Thursday. In Canada, meanwhile, is celebrated on the second Monday of October. Generally during this holiday gather around a table with family and friendssharing a feast.
Although religious in origin, is a considered a secular holiday. On Thanks giving in North America has its origins in a mixture of European and Aboriginaltraditions.
In Europe, festivals were held before and after the harvest cycles to give thanks for a good harvest, and to celebrate after hard work along with the rest of thecommunity 2. At that time, Native Americans also celebrated the final harvest. When Europeans arrived in what would become America for the first time, brought their owntraditions (the harvest festival) from your continent celebrating the end of their journey, peace and good harvest.
Although the origins of Thanksgiving Day are similar in Canadaand the United States, Americans celebrate the contributions are not made on the island of Newfoundland, while Canadians do not celebrate the contributions in Plymouth andMassachusetts.
Mexicans celebrate Christmas with a family dinner and a toast sometimes included a gift exchange. Also common are posadas: broken piñatas filled with fruit,drink punch, decorating homes with Christmas decorations to alucivos. Dinner consist of: a stuffed turkey or roast, marinated tenderloin or roast leg. Accompanied by: applesalad, cold soup or pasta, lettuce or rice. To finish it may be: one slice of Yule log, thousands leaves cake, Christmas salad, in port wine grapes or a glass with ice cream.
