Do you know what an obsolete job is?
The routine is not always entertaining if your job is very hard and an obligation. For those that don’t know an obsoletejob is a work that no longer exists due to advances in technology or changes that have occurred in American industry over the last century. So, we can explain thatobsolete job was a kind a routine job because those jobs were very stressful. Through the lecture, there are some examples of obsolete jobs.
Who has known aboutthe copy boy? This kind of job basically it was a boy who had been working in a specific area, organizing and bring it to the appropriate desk for someone’sattention. The copy boy would run it to a desk of whomever was covering business for the newspaper. Now, Internet replaces the copy boy. The new technology has beenusing for this kind of job. It is an easy way and much faster.
Another obsolete job it was switchboard operator. This kind of job it was a nice lady would directa call to a different destination by plugging in from one slot to another. It was a very hard job, because the lady had have to being responsible for responding toa directing every single person that decide to talk. Now, the new job who replaces this obsolete job is the people who run companies such as twitter, Facebook,etc.
In the old days these kinds of jobs were very famous, but now we can say that there are not more useful. There were more like a routine and very stressful forall those people who had those kinds of jobs. The technology had been replacing these kinds of jobs and the obsolete jobs had been disappeared with the time.
