Orígenes

Cuando surgió la Casa del Obrero, en 1912, se estableció al movimiento obrero como una herramienta capaz de hacer valer derechos elementales dentro de su área de trabajo tales como son la jornadalaboral y el descanso dominical. Bajo esa misma línea fue creado en 1916 la Confederación del Trabajo de la Región Mexicana, la cual impulsó la lucha de clases y la socialización de los medios de producción.
Sin embargo, el paso más importante para la integración de sociedades obreras fue dado en 1917 con la formación de la Confederación Regional Obrera Mexicana (CROM).En su origen la CROM prohibíaa los miembros de los organismos sindicales pertenecer y apoyar a algún partido político, por lo cual limitaban su lucha sólo en el sector económico.
Alianzas políticas
