Pride and Prejudice

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune
must be in want of a wife”, it is not unusual for an individual todisagree with social customs or expectations. Some people are only happy when they can rebel against society. Most mature adults eventually realize that compromise is necessary to achieve happiness.This is the case in the early nineteenth century England setting of Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen. In the novel, Miss Elizabeth Bennet is a lively, independent woman, whose family's financialsituation and whose strong mindedness suggests that she may never marry. Mr. Darcy is a rigid and proper man, who falls in love with Elizabeth, despite their differences.

This novel is considered aclassic of English literature, for me is the mother of modern romantic fiction. The history tells about the Bennett sister’s adventures and barriers they found for to be accepted into society and find agood husband. Compromise and Marriage are the two themes more important that this literature takes, which is the most important decision the Bennet sisters will have to take. The danger lies inchoosing wrong, immaturity or lack of emotional discipline. Also see the reality of social classes, the misunderstandings that can arise from a bad impression, resentment found, money, initiallycommunication lack of disinterest that exists between them. The lack of maturity of certain characters, which act by instinct or revenge. At the end we can see how a simple word we can achieve many things,listening to others and ourselves in the place of others. Not only see our world, are seeing the world around us, our reality.

It´s ironic because the story is somewhat unusual because the authorpublished this work in an era where women were seen as just a housewife and had no significant participation in society. The plot is fascinating; it tells the story of this young girl who rebels against...
