Oil of soy bean
Receipt of the raw material (commodity):
The raw material (commodity) comes to the plant in pipes or trucks of transport, at his arrival the raw oil you weigh for of controlinventories; immediately afterwards it is stored in tanks precedes to be refined. It is necessary to store it in a fresh place (20-25ºC) and must not be exposed to the Sun or to the heat, since the hightemperatures diminish his stability oxidative.
Degummed:
The raw oil is stimulated across a bomb of the tanks of storage to the tank of mixture where is added the dose needed of phosphoric acidfrom 75 %.
This operation is indispensable since they are achieved to eliminate the fosfatidos that even and low concentrations provoking serious problems in the storage and conservation of theoil.
This process consists of the watery extraction of diverse compounds hidrosolubles, such as: proteins, carbohydrates and fosfatidos that is possible to separate since they establish an immisciblephase with the oil.
Neutralized:
This treatment is effected basically to eliminate the oily free acids (AGL) that are present in the oil, though also it reduces the monoacilgliceridos and thefosfolipidos that could have stayed as result of the previous stage adding a solution of the hydroxide of sodium (32 %) and then separating for centrifugation the insoluble precipitated soaps.Caustic soda is added by the aim to neutralize the AGL, then to feed to the tank of retention where the oil remains during 15 minutes.
Later, the oil happens for a heat interchanger where it warms up tofuse the formed tablet of soap. Then, the product of reaction of these stages (the soap or soapstock) I join the oil, it is led to one centrifuges where it is achieved to separate 95 % of the tabletof soap and great part of the components treated in the stage of degummed.
After this stage, the proceeding oil even takes soap in suspension the one that is removed by washes by soft warm water...
