Rogers and his helpers built a small electronic device that sticks to the skin like a tattoo. “The device’s users are patient, athletes, doctors, secret agents, and yourself.” This small device isplaced in your forehead to record brain waves and on the wrist to record blood flow and muscle movement. The electronic device can track signs and detect problems in our body system. It can work as asecret phone and it’s activated when the person talks.
“The scientist designed the device, about half as thick as an ordinary sheet of paper, with skin in mind.” It has been made with a materialthat can be stretched and aquashed and still be working. “Scientist who designed devices for the body has to study how it functions, down to a tiny cellular level.” Scientist who made the device,demonstrated last fall how it measured the body in different ways. These inventions can do many things, like measure the body’s temperature, muscle motion, or electrical activity of the skin.
Thedevice is super small that you can barely feel is there. “The scientist have found a way to extend technology deeper than body’s surface. They have introduced already some electrical devices that areattached to a body’s organ to make it work better. “Electronic circuits and instruments record blood flow and electric current, which means the material can alert doctors to hidden problems with apatient’s ticker.
“In the not-so-distant future, surgery patients may find themselves wearing smart temporary tattoos, rather than bulky devises covered with wires.” To make these devices they bringtogether machines and living things to help people live better. “In the future they want to extend this technology to create tiny devices that may even be able to operate independently within thebody, improving, for example, the health of a human heart.” Scientist’s goal is make these devices track the body and brain activity and be able to eliminate surgical inventions.
