What is energy?
Energy is the capacity of a physical system to perform work. Energy exists in several forms such as heat, kinetic or mechanical energy, light, potentialenergy, electrical, or other forms. Is an indirectly observed quantity. It is often understood as the ability a physical system has to do work on other physical systems. Energy is the ability to do workand there are many types of energy.
What is current energy?
Energy current is a somewhat informal term that is used, on occasion, to describe the process of energy transfer in situations where thetransfer can usefully be viewed in terms of a flow. It is particularly used when the transfer of energy is more significant to the discussion than the process by which the energy is transferred.

Mechanical Energy
Is the energy of motion that does the work like the wind turns a windmill.
Heat Energy
Where motion or rise in temperature is caused by heat like a fire in yourfireplace.
Chemical Energy
Is the chemical reaction causing changes; food and fuel both store chemical energy.
Electrical Energy
Is when motion, light or heat is produced by an electrical current likethe electric coils on your stove.
Gravitational Energy
Where motion, like water going over a dam, is caused by gravity's pull.

2. Thermal energy: molecules of a hotter object have greater kinetic energy than those ofa colder one, in the form of vibrational, rotational, or, in the case of a gas, translational motion. Ex: regular heat, radiation energy.
3. Electromagnetic energy: A form of energy that isreflected or emitted objects in the form of electrical and magnetic waves that can travel trough space. Ex: X rays, radiation, radio waves.
