Ensayo Debate

The debate that took over last week was not relevant at all for the people that were waiting for something to make up their minds. The debate was supposed to encouragewatcher to vote for each candidate with their proposals, their statements, points of view and each of their personalities. Instead of the candidates giving good argumentsabout their campaigns, they were fighting each other and every answer they gave was about what the other candidated did wrong.
All in all, the talk in the debate wasall negative, every argument they did was about how bad the government was going to be with the other candidates, so in the end there was not one candidate who didn’t haveat least a couple of arguments against him. JVM, AMLO and EPN had a constant fight, everything they said was an attack against the other one. In my opinion, Quadri wasthe winner of the debate, with him being the only one actually answering the questions he was asked, he made the best case.
I think the debate was a dissappointment foralmost every mexican, every candidate was criticized and they all acted really immature. It did change some people’s point of view but negatively, with some candidatesspecifically getting a lot lower on ratings. We all expected more out of this debate and I don’t think it helped the candidate’s campaigns get more followers. They were theones turning people against themselves and even if some people did change their minds, they did it because they realized the candidate they were rooting for was not goodfor the country and decided to change their mind, not because a candidate had so many good proposals or a really smart point of view that they decided he was the best.
