Resumen

El vertiginoso crecimiento experimentado en los últimos años por la producción de conocimiento, distribución y consumo de información científica, se ha visto especialmente potenciado por las nuevas tecnologías de información. Uno de los principales paradigmas que actualmente orienta la incorporación de Tecnologías de Información en el ámbito de los Centros de Información ydocumentación lo constituye la Digitalización del servicio. Así, las unidades de información del sector académico y de investigación han dado inicio al desarrollo de nuevos mecanismos de almacenamiento, recuperación y acceso a sus colecciones que permitan, en el mediano plazo, la oferta de servicios bajo el esquema de la información Digital. La Reforma Universitaria, se interpreta como un proceso decambio, proponiendo el reto de desarrollar las disciplinas del saber desde la perspectiva de su utilidad, es decir, como herramientas valiosas e indispensables para ayudar a comprender la realidad humana, a identificar los problemas más complejos dentro de esa realidad a encontrar soluciones para cambiar el curso de los acontecimientos que impiden a la humanidad lograr niveles de vida mássatisfactorios. Los objetivos y funciones incluyen el desarrollo de estrategias para potenciar el aprendizaje tecnológico-informativo y la inteligencia investigativa. El papel de los Centros de Documentación e información en el desarrollo del aprendizaje tecnológico-informativo y la inteligencia investigativa. Dentro de la universidad que es un sistema complejo que comprende a los estudiantes, a losprofesores, a los obreros y obreras, egresados y egresadas y a la sociedad en general, la finalidad es que la Universidad contribuya a la producción y desarrollo científico, tecnológico, social, cultural y hasta espiritual de la Nación. Todas las corrientes del pensamiento deben convivir y coexistir en la universidad.

The University reform, is interpreted as a process of change, byproposing the challenge of developing disciplines of knowledge from the perspective of their usefulness, as valuable and tools necessary to help understand human reality, to identify the most complex problems within this reality to find solutions to change the course of events that prevent humanity to achieve satisfactory levels of life. The objectives and tasks include the development of strategiesto promote tecnologico-informativo learning and investigative intelligence. The role of the centres for documentation and information in the development of the tecnologico-informativo learning and investigative intelligence. Within the University which is a complex system that includes students, teachers, workers and women workers, graduates and graduates and society in general, the aim is thatthe University will contribute to production and the nation's scientific, technological, social, cultural and even spiritual development.
