Evaluation of the website ford.com
Like any company in the world needs to sell its products, this company (Ford) offers to its customers anincredible website. With this website the company tries to get the attention of the customer to buy a new car or truck through pictures of the cars and trucks, promotions or discounts, phrases and aslogan like “drive one”, and other interesting links. This website also has so many interesting things to call the attention of the customer like amusing videos, games and information about the carsand trucks for example: “customize your mustang” and “build ford tough”. Besides all these things, the company tries to become familiar with the clients creating many sub-websites such as Warriors inPink, Racing, or the Ford story. With everything said, I think the purpose of the website is very clear, sell, sell and sell with different methods and techniques already mentioned.
Thepresentation of this website in my opinion is very good, because they have everything very organized like the menu and all the options and the stuffs that this website is offering. Also they have an attractivepicture of three cars in a beautiful place, so with that you can understand that Ford is a very good company of cars and those cars are very good and exclusive. On the other hand, the colors in thiswebsite are striking and that is very important if you want to sell something, since the people like to see something appealing.
This website also has information about the all the vehicles, becausethe customers need all the information before buying a car. For example, “The Fiesta SE with the SFE Package delivers up to 40 mpg hwy” or “Fusion gas-powered and hybrid models deliver plenty ofperformance” or “The 2012 Mustang engines deliver abundant power and off-the-line low-end torque” with those phases you can get a better idea of the cars and take a good decision when is time to buy a...
