Ruben's family requested a psychological evaluation as a requirement of the Canadian embassy for immigration formalities Ruben's sister is making.
Background Information
is the youngestof seven brothers, according to his sister, who is responsible for the boy, because their mother is now deceased. He presented seizures at birth, which affected his learning abilities and language. Hehas lived with his sister since 5 years old. He repeated several grades but learned to read, write and manage the basic operations of mathematics.
When Mrs. traveled to Canada, the boy stayed withher mother in law: Ms. Encarnacion Robles de, since her other brothers can’t take care of him. According to Ms., is capable of fend for himself, perform all behaviors of self help: such as bathes,clothing, and personal cleaning. He goes to school by himself, and collaborates with home chores. Ms. also has a food business, where serves customers, can handle money, knows how to manage computerbasics, home and business appliances. Has no behavior difficulties; he belongs to the football team of his school, and can also perform simple tasks out of the house. She tells hat they have a field nearthe house where goes to work the plot. He is a boy who you should tell him what to do; since he has no initiative, also you have to supervise his work constantly. He is not yet responsible of hishomework, he has reached to ninth grade but there have been some school adjustments made for him. He is somewhat irritable and often forgets responsibilities that have been assigned.
