Renewable energy

Good afternoon every body thanks for join me today, first of all i like to introduce my self, my name is carlos jardon and i will talk about the renewable energy,specifically three types: Wind. Power, hydropower and solar energy.

Lets begin by describing what is a renewable energy, Renewable energy is power that comes from resources which arecontinually replenished such as sunlight, wind, rain etc. About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable resources, so if we use this kind of energy, we can help to keep theenviromental clean.

Let’s look now the diferent types of renewable energys:

Wind Power: is the conversion of Ind. power into a useful form of energy, such as using Ind. turbines to makeelectrical power, is an alternative to fossil fuels, because is renewable, clean, produces no greenhouse gas emissions and uses little land, and this kind of energy cold generate 12 percent ofglobal energy.

Hydropower: Flowing water creates energy that can be captured and turned into electricity. This is calledhydroelectric power, The most common type of hydroelectric powerplant uses a dam on a river to store water in a reservoir. Water released from the reservoir flows through a turbine, spinning it, which in turn activates a generator to produce electricity.Solar Energy: Solar energy applies energy from the sun in the form of solar radiation for heat or to generate electricity.
Photovoltaic solar cells directly convert sunlight intoelectricity so this means that this kind of energy is a sustainable resource, meaning it doesn't run out, but can be maintained

In conclusion i believe that we are on time to replace the norenewable energys for this kind of energy sources, if we did this we can keep clean our planet and save the diferent kind of especies and ensure a green future for the next generations.
