Express Opinions

Objective:
Identify things that make us dependents in certain way.
Identify different personalities.
Identify shyness and discuss what are some causes and problems.

Procedure:
To carry outthis report the following step were taken:
1. I research in the text book all the activities mentioned in each Topic.
2. I investigated and reviewed more information on websites and blogs.
3.I understand the topic and the assignment.
4. I read the text book and wrote the results.

Results:
Shy is the feeling of apprehension, lack of comfort, or awkwardness experienced when aperson is in proximity to, approaching, or being approached by other people, especially in new situations or with unfamiliar people.
Individuals with low self-esteem may have feelings of insignificance.Considering this I think that shy is not always linked with low self-esteem, probably one thing takes to another, but not always. I work with kids and probably 5 percent of the student population isshy. Some of them are only children, come from dysfunctional families, they live only with their mother/ father. They do not have large family or their parents do not have time to socialize in thecommunity. They have not been taught how to socialize or interact with more people or how to be integrated in a new group. In the other hand low self-esteem people has always been repressed or criticizedby their family, friends or colleagues. I consider that low self-esteem comes from the family, if your mother or father never shows enough love or esteem you do not get enough confidence and courageto do or say what you want. Writing a diary could be productive, but only if you use it in the correct form. A diary helps you to describe, to say and to think the things as you want, but you have todistinguish what is real and fiction.
